Hi i’m Janet Granger and i’m answering your questions about marketing so today’s question is what are some examples of marketing in different industries well i’m going to answer that by saying marketing is everywhere people often confuse advertising with marketing um advertising is just a small part of what marketing is and basically marketing is the process of reaching out to potential customers understanding uh what their problems are what their issues are how you help solve their problems if you’re marketing to them and understanding the best way to go about doing this that is understanding your customers well enough to know what the right rest message is to hit them with at the right time and in the right place that’s essentially what marketing is now different industries where there’s marketing well pretty much any industry you can think of has marketing in it from the automobile industry to pharmaceuticals think about gaming think about shoes think about clothing think about electronics think about spotify think about alcoholic beverages think about water think about soda or pop or whatever you call it um think about tattoos think about haircuts i mean anything really as a product or service that’s out there probably that person who’s offering that product or service has thought about marketing and that is getting the right message to you at the right place and at the right time so that it resonates with you as a as a user a consumer a client a customer um so when you when you start to recognize what the ad part of it is uh you can’t unsee it anymore you know you recognize ads on youtube you recognize ads on spotify they interrupt you know if you’re not paying for spotify there’s billboards on the road there’s magazines there’s newspapers there’s commercials on tv if you’re watching regular television um there’s ads on instagram there’s ads on facebook and there’s even people marketing to you in places like tiktok so i hope that helps uh answer the question um what are some examples of marketing in different industries i’m Janet Granger and feel free to share this if you find it interesting.
